4th
Annual 2012 EUROPE SUMMER LEAGUE.
The
2012 EUROPE SUMMER LEAGUE will be in two
session. The 1st session will be July 7-22, 2012 in Italy & Serbia.
The 2nd Session will start in Germany and will continue on through
Austria, Slovakis & Hungary from September 20 - October 1, 2012.
1st Session
- July 7-22, 2012 - This will be an 15 Day International Tour &
Exposure Tournament held from July
7-22 2012 in
ITALY & SERBIA. The
2012
EUROPE SUMMER LEAGUE-1st Session
will commence in
ROME,
ITALY on July 7, 2012 and will
end in
BELGRADE, SERBIA
on July 22, 2012. Along the way the participating players will play
games vs. local teams in the
2012
EUROPE SUMMER LEAGUE in various
locales in and around
ROME
& PERUGIA,
ITALY & BELGRADE, SERBIA and
they will participate in high level basketball skills training
sessions with professional basketball coaches/trainers who have many years
of experience in international basketball.
The
participants will also play in 2 tournaments while in Italy. This
will include a 3 on 3 tournament as well as
competing in the 2012 Italian Basket Jazz Camp in
PERUGIA, ITALY during the Perugia International
Umbria Jazz Festival, against teams comprised of players from all
over the world. The
2011 Perugia International Umbria Jazz Festival was
highlighted with headline performances by acts such as
PRINCE, SANTANA, B.B. KING & many
others.
The 2012 Italian Basket Jazz
Camp tournament will also feature a skills competition for the
players to be able to highlight their individual skills including a
3-point contest and a slam dunk contest.
2nd Session
- September 20 - October 1, 2012 - This will be a 11 Day International Tour &
2 Exposure Tournaments held from
September 20 - October 1, 2012 in
LATVIA, ESTONIA, AUSTRIA, SLOVAKIA & HUNGARY. The
2012
EUROPE SUMMER LEAGUE
will commence in
LIEPAJA, LATVIA on
September 20, 2012 and will
end in VIENNA, AUSTRIA
on October 1, 2012. Along the way the participating players will play
in games vs. local teams in the in the
2012
EUROPE SUMMER LEAGUE in various
locales in and around
several countries in Europe
including
LATVIA, ESTONIA, AUSTRIA, SLOVAKIA & HUNGARY. They will participate in high level basketball skills training
sessions with professional basketball trainers who have many years
of experience in international basketball.
The participants will also be involved in 2
tournaments in LIEPAJA, LATVIA &
ZALAEGERSZEG, HUNGARY.
***Coaches/managers/scouts/agents from all over the world are invited
to attend the
2012 EUROPE SUMMER LEAGUE
and
the 2012 Italian Basket Jazz Camp.
***The game videos will also be
available to the players, coaches, managers, scouts and
agents.
We
have arranged for excellent accommodations located close to the
playing/training facilities - Included with your registration.
Besides the basketball games & tournaments your
registration will also cover hotel where breakfast
is included almost every day.
High quality basketball
players from all over the world will train, compete and get their
opportunity to showcase their skillset and prove themselves in front
of coaches/managers/scouts/agents from numerous countries in the
hopes of landing a contract and a coveted spot on a roster for the
upcoming basketball season. Players will play games against
professional basketball teams, compete in tournaments and will avail
themselves of high level basketball skills training.
The 2011 Italian Basket Jazz
Camp tournament featured approximately 60 players from all over the
world including players from USA, Canada, Italy, England, Greece,
Scotland, Wales, Spain, France, Turkey, Chile, Nigeria, Syria, Saudi
Arabia & others. The coaching staff consisted of coaches from Italy,
Estonia, Germany, USA, Norway, England & Canada with coaching,
training & playing experience from all over the world including
former NBA player Charlie Yelverton who was also named one of the
top 50 EUROLEAGUE players of all times. There was also a skills
competition at the end of the tournament in the city center which
draw a very large attendance numbering in the hundreds.
